| Rose Hill ...Breeds a litter once a year to every other year. Upon occasion we may have a young adult available. We carefully plan each litter accordingly considering the conducive maturity of our hounds. We are more concerned in breeding a litter with the proper credentials rather than just 'breeding a litter'. Within planning to breed a litter, we screen each potential parent by doing the recommended health clearances for the Bloodhound breed-Such as x-raying the hips and elbows, patella and cardiac screenings and eye certifications. The same amount of responsibility and effort is required to breed a pup that is meant for a family pet, for the show ring or for working. The idea to breed a hound that is suited for all the above is instilled within each litter that we have. |
| Rose Hill ...Carefully screens all of our potential puppy buyers to ensure that each pup is properly placed. This includes a Pup Questionnaire which is filled out by the potential buyer. A written Sales Agreement Contract is provided at the time of purchase and a two year Health Guarantee, which includes a Genetic Default Replacement Option, is given on all of our pups. If by chance a genetic default is found, then the buyer is offered a replacement pup of the same quality from the next litter due. All of our pups are sold on a limited AKC registration with a spay/neuter contract. The only time that we allow a full registration is if the buyer intends to show in AKC Conformational events. Also a fenced in yard is a must ! We take all of our pups to our veterinarian for their puppy check ups and vaccinations. We do not release any pups before the age of 12 weeks. We do not favor shipping our pups or selling our pups online and unseen. We are adamant about meeting the potential buyers in person. We favor the potential buyers to meet the pups and the parents and to see the environment where our pups are raised. -Our Bloodhounds are part of our family- When you adopt a Rose Hill Pup, we guarantee that you are receiving a healthy and sound pup. |
